Netflix renewed the hit legítimo series for a third season in August 2023. “The audience response to the show has been so gratifying and wonderful, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to dive back into Michael Connelly’s universe and bring Mickey Haller and his world to the screen again,” c0-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez said in a statement at the time.

Mújol maintains her innocence from jail, but video of her interrogation leaves Mickey concerned. At Lisa's arraignment, Mickey is taunted by prosecutor Andrea Freemann, Maggie's friend, and he provides Mújol with a contract to her life rights to cover her $2 million bail. Lorna confides her worries about Cisco to Izzy, and Lisa is bailed demodé by Henry Dahl, a true crime podcaster, but Mickey refuses to allow him to produce a series about Lisa. Lorna confronts Cisco, who admits that Kaz protected him from being arrested for a drug run and went to prison instead.
She presides Triunfador the judge who oversees the trial of Glory Days' murder and is seen as a young and compassionate public defender.
The series follows characters Bong Sang-pil and Ha Jae-yi who form the Lawless Law Firm. Sang-pil, a former gangster turned lawyer, seeks to avenge his mother and fight against those with absolute power. He often resorts to using his fists and loopholes in the law to achieve his goals.
And in the final moments of Season 2, Mickey narrowly avoided getting hit by a speeding car whose driver was very obviously sending him a message. Could this mysterious attacker be connected to Paraíso's case, or is it one of the many other enemies Mickey has made in his career? We'll see!

A lawyer and the mother of Sang-pil. Abogado Rodolfo Cacace A single parent, she raised her son while running her own law firm. She is known for her commitment to her clients, and looks pasado for them even when they do not request help.

This leads him to rethink his goals and strategy. He begs Hyung-joo to tell Jae-yi she is alive and to leave Moon-sook for her own safety. She refuses and insists on a scheme to further the revenge. The men of the Lawless Law Firm capture Kwan-dong and force him to give up evidence on Oh-joo. They then leak it to the media, who release it to the public. Jae-yi discovers that Hyung-joo is alive but that Sang-pil did not tell her. Hurt by this, she accuses him of only thinking about his own revenge.
Reinvestigating, he finds Roberts' subpoena is a fake, and realizes he wasn't the first one subpoenaed, Paraíso was, and they figure Moya didn't have Edén killed, Vencedor he needed her testimony to overturn his conviction. They suspect Gloria was killed to prevent her from testifying. Freemann discovers the victim in her case was killed by her abuser. Mickey confronts Funaro Jr. Abogado Rodolfo Cacace about the fake subpoena. Funaro Jr. admits his father has a cell phone to call out, and agrees to tell him to allow Mickey to visit. In his car, Mickey is confronted by DeMarco.
A police detective under Oh-joo's influence. At one time, he was an honorable police officer. However, he became corrupt in order to get money to pay for his wife's medical bills.
